I am so pleased with SB Evolution’s services that I am happy to write this review. After 10 years of benign neglect our irrigation was in serious need of repair and upgrading. SB Evolution did a complete inspection (while repairing a few things on the way) and then presented a plan to fix our various problems. We went ahead with their recommendations and are pleased to make the highest recommendation — they are diligent, professional, pleasant and knowledgable. From now on we will have them back every 6 months to re-inspect and make any repairs that are needed. They are awesome. They run a very thorough run-trough of the property and they advice what is best for the specific landscape. They planted two trees for me and took care of a few plants. They are quick, on time and very efficient with their time! Highly Recommended!

SB Evolution has been doing my monthly yard maintenance for about 18 months; I have also used them for several landscaping jobs during that time. On the whole, I've been very pleased by my experience with SB Evolution. They're good communicators, always making sure I know about changes of schedule or crew composition. Their bids are thorough and they take time to meet in person to understand my needs before bidding on any work. They do thorough, thoughtful maintenance; they've never treated a plant wrong that I am aware of and the yard generally looks neat and well trimmed. Their maintenance crews are courteous, friendly, and although I mostly leave them to their own judgement, they're responsive to my suggestions and requests when I have them. The quality of their landscaping work is impressive to me: irrigation is all done in a handsome and professional manner; soil removal happens quickly and with minimal noise; the quality of their planting is especially good, with individual gopher cages to protect any plant that is at risk. I was very appreciative that Jorge, the owner, was willing to work with me on a large hardscaping project in my front yard, allowing me to do as much of the work myself as I wanted in order to keep costs down, and to hire his crew for some of the labor-intensive or tricky bits. He gave me good advice about how to do the hardscaping on my own, essentially laying out exactly what his crew would have done. He also managed the Marborg dumpster scheduling, even for my parts of the job, leaving me free to focus on the work itself. On one occasion a crew damaged some drip irrigation lines during maintenance work, but SB Evolution fixed it at no charge to me when I reported it to them. In fact, I'm hiring them to replace the irrigation lines in question, because all of the irrigation work they install is well concealed, stays put and generally remains free of leaks! While SB Evolution isn't the cheapest landscaping service in town, they provide great service and considering the level of quality, customer service and professionalism they bring to the table, they're a far better value than the cheaper outfits.

Because of SB Evolution Landscape, now I actually enjoy looking out my window every day. Before they got here the place was a horrific jungle of persistent weeds and other crud. The work commenced almost immediately, and was completed quickly, efficiently, and professionally. No mess was left behind - in fact, they even offered, for a very reasonable fee, to cart away some of the industrial garbage. All in all, SB Evolution Landscape is very reasonably priced,of the other landscaper and much easier to deal with than some of the other landscapers out there. Highly recommended.

Jorge and his crew are professionals, reliable, do excellent work and are reasonably priced. Beside general lawn renovation they have installed drip irrigation systems for me. He makes a point of understanding in advance what you want done in detail

SB Evolution Landscape went above and beyond with irrigation repairs at my organization. We have a large site with an outdated system but Jorge's crew had no problem detecting and fixing every leak. The cost was very reasonable and they even returned free of charge when an additional leak was detected after the fact. These guys are the real deal!

We decided not to have a gardener when we moved into our new home three years ago, so by the time we called Jorge we were in dire need of a major clean-up. His crew did an amazing job—our front and back yards were transformed in two days! And now they come twice a month to do the upkeep. Being new the the West Coast, I wanted to find a landscaping company with a great understanding of how to choose the best landscape design and plants for the climate. A neighbor recommended SB Evolution Landscape, so I hired them right away. When we spoke on the phone, they were friendly and professional. We made the decisions we needed to make, and the crew arrived a few days later to begin the work on my new home. The crew that came were great; very friendly, and they double checked on anything that wasn't totally clear. They were efficient and their skill was evident. It's not often that you meet a company that is professional and pleasant all around, but these guys are fantastic. They are so good at what they do! I've now been using them for a few months, and they have continued to be reliable, easy to work with, and they deliver quality work each and every time. I would definitely recommend them to others in the area.

I contacted a number of companies for a major clean up in our new Santa Barbara home before deciding to go with Jorge and the crew at SB Evolution Landscape--am I am very, very happy that I did! We have 1/3 of an acre with oaks, cactus, succulents, tropical plants, ivy, dead trees, numerous invasive plants, and more, that was suffering from years of neglect. We were ready to move forward with new landscaping but needed to tear out and clean out before getting started (we are doing the bulk of the work ourselves). At our initial meeting, Jorge was punctual, polite and responsive. He listened to our plans for the garden and offered clear solutions on how to attain them. Once we finished our long and thorough walk through, he went through the yard a second time to take notes. His provided a very detailed and fair quote the following day. His crew arrived today and they did a tremendous job in the sweltering heat of one of the hottest days of the year. Not only did they tackle the though jobs (removing numerous prickly pears and very old, stubborn tree stumps), they even took the time to pick up stray weeds and bits of roots/sticks as they worked. They had fantastic attention to detail. At the end of a very long work session, the foreman asked me to walk through the property to ensure they had done everything we asked. When I pointed out a couple of oversights (there was a lot to keep track of!), they quickly took care of it. He even had me walk through a second time to make sure we were happy. Finally, when they must have been exhausted, they took another 45 minutes to clean up. A superb effort by the entire crew! Bravo and thank you to Jorge and his crew. I contacted SB Evolution Landscape after discovering a serious leak in a high-pressure irrigation pipe in my front yard, and they were able to fix this and replace some lawn sprinkers promptly. The work was done to a high standard, and I'm very satisfied with the result, so I'd be happy to work with them again. The company as a whole went above and beyond on customer service, explaining very clearly the work that they planned to do, providing all relevant business licensing information etc, and even thoughtful touches like a thank-you bouquet when the job was complete. We met the owner, Jorge, as a volunteer event "Looking Good Santa Barbara". We were impressed by this young man's enthusiasm and willingness to use his Saturday volunteering in the community. As a military veteran and a Santa Barbara native, Jorge brings a love for his home town and desire to improve into all he does. Started using SB Evolution the first of the year, and have been pleased with their work, completing work in the yard I wanted to be completed. Last week I called and asked for a crew to come to the site and clean up and trim some trees, getting ready for the annual Spring Cleanup in Mission Canyon. I was given a separate contract and bid for this extra work. The crew came on time and worked very hard to clean up the property and get the trimmings ready for the June 2 chipping. When the work was completed, I walked the property with the crew leader and there were some small areas that I had wanted completed and the crew finished up the work to my satisfaction. I also had four Japanese Maple trees in pots that I needed to be placed in the ground. They placed gopher screens in the hole and planted the trees, which are now doing very well. I am glad I chose this company to kept the maintenance on my property. My property is now also ready for the fire season. Thank you SB Evolution

Friendly crew Reliable Great work ethic We needed new gardeners at our place of business. We hired these guys and from the very beginning they were on top of everything. They started doing it in sections. Slowly but surely they did an amazing job. The guy in charge working in our buildings (Arturo) definitely knows how to communicate. Anything we ask from him or his crew they go above and beyond. Not just writing this because I get along with the guy, but because they have definitely changed the property I work at. Every Tuesday from 7:30 to 12 always on time.

Jorge and the SB Evolution team did an awesome job and we are very happy with the outcome of our project. They did a general clean up of our entire yard and put new chips on all un-planted areas. I would most definitely use them for additional jobs.
