Landscape Company In Santa Barbara: Water Flowing On Dry River Bed
Video Transcription
All right, this is where it starts, right there, the water flow this way through there, under the bridge. You see, there would be a flagstone, FG pathway with rock edging all the way around. And the purpose of this is really to hold as much water, as possible, as a swell. So, you know, when the client decides to plant some drought tolerant plants, I mean, there’s gonna be no need to use any water, here, in Southern California with water, you know, we’re being in a very severe drought. But thank goodness, we’re having this amazing storm.
So, let’s take a look. As you can see, it’s holding very well here I mean, we want to hold the water as much water as possible, you know, help the soil and plants, once they get the man and you can see here, this is where it holds a little bit water as well. Ant it’s just starts trickling into this channel right there.
And the whole purpose, really the main purpose is we want to secure the foundation of any water and the water drains at that channel all the way down to the street and not to the street. Look at that, we did the landscape fabric right underneath, so that water goes through. The clients didn’t want to minimize the weed control. As you can see, it’s been working very effective.
