Santa Barbara Professional Landscapers At Landscape Irrigation Inspection And Repair Part 2

Hello everyone, so we here, in Montecito with Jesus, Klemente (the supervisor of SB Evolution Landscape), crew leader Antonio and we’re just gonna check the project. This project involves trimming all the boxwoods, trouble showing the entire irrigation system. We’re gonna add some solar amendment to all the boxwoots so they can grow healthier, bigger, stronger, greener. Part of that is the soil amendment and irrigation, so we can increase the water, fix the leaks, turn up the water, make them look like Disneyland. That’s what the client wants, he wants this place to look like Disneyland, we’re the team, we can do it.
Good, so there 2 options to extend irrigation, so it’s higher and taller, so it’s not blocked from the foliage, from the class and the shrub here. Or number 2 is trim the shrub in a manner, do it’s exposed and in the irrigation the water can flow right into the areas,that’s not gaining any water. So, two recommendations, like I said again, this is an irrigation troubleshoot, they present these options to client and depend on the clients budget, he can decide, what he wants to do. The least expensive method is coming back to the plants, the more expensive, more labor-intensive part of the job is digging in there, exposing the sprinkle, replant the sprinkler body, what the taller sprinkler, changed the heads on it. So you get maximize the efficiency of the water and then installing, that’s it. That’s a more labor-intensive, more expensive job, because there is more materials involved and labor involved. So, we let the client decide.
So,that’s the same situation like here. And we’re gonna present to the client later on,once we’re done with the job.
We’ll use the hedge trimmer, trim the boxwoods, of course right here, there’s a gap they must have die, probably because it’s not receiving water. So, we’re gonna let it grow and fill in, same thing on that side.
Irrigation remote control, you can activate the irrigation system with this remote control, this is really neat. You see, guys, you see that? He activated and turns on.
You see the traffic here? Check out the traffic, this is the high traffic area, you got be very careful, when you working along the street, so Jesus and the supervisor is gonna make sure the guys are safe and protecred. We don’t want nobody getting hurt. But the neat thing about this remote control, if you want to show it to the camera, it’s a “Hunter”, this saves us labor and time from going back and forth back and forth to turn on and off the irrigation system, or from having somebody on the phone on the radiation system and it’s somebody go on here, because one person can be doing this job, it makes life easier, more efficient, we have a lot of fun with this.
It saves a lot of time, when you have an irrigation plan, so whoever is your contractor your landscape professional doing the job, make sure they write this down, because it’s gonna save you a lot of labor in time for life. Because once you have this, you know exactly where to go, what you do and our guys do. Whereas, if you keep having different contractors,different people look at your system, they’re gonna charge that to the client.
We gotta walk around. I took up before video, so right now, I mean, this is Disneyland, the client wants dizzily in Disneyland boxwoods, he’s gonna get them. It’s gonna need water and it’s gonna need so amendment, but we’re gonna do that, we’re gonna do like that and fertilizer too, will add some fertilizer too. It wasn’t in the contract, but you know what buy this buy a bag and then sprinkle a little bit. So, in 2-3 month, if we come back, I mean, you know, if you want to come to Disneyland, come to Montecito.

So, it’s no irrigation system here, so in this area has to be chain water.
We’re gonna talk later about how to set up the irrigation system, so these boxwood, I m.j mean, they grow, you know, they look impeccable in couple months, that’s what we want. We’re all about high quality, high customer service. SB Evolution Landscape, that’s what we, that’s what our focus, we don’t do mom blow, we don’t do none of that.

So, he said this section and struggling, because it has a different drip system in it, that’s not as efficient, as when we normally used to. In it’s not as efficient, as other parts around the area, so we gonna show the client the drip system, where it’s efficient which is working great, the tapa drip we want to use and tell them “hey, we recommend replacing this with that type of irrigation system, the most efficient type of drip irrigation, tha that’s inline drip, we have the drip emitters built in the lines every 8 or 12 inches, or so there’s different types.
So, the drip emitters are clogged and that’s why if you can see through there that there’s a plant that’s dying. It’s just, the drip emitters get clogged, do it’s important to check your irrigation system consistently, to ensure t hhg at they don’t get clogged, because debris gets clogged up, or you have the calcium buildup residue and it blocks the drip emitters. So, you got constantly clean them.
So, is this a pittosporum hedge, it starts from the street, the corner of the street over there, and it extends all the way along the neighbor, as a privacy hedge all the way onto the end of the property. And there’s a fence over there up onto the fence and it provides a beautiful privacy. I mean it looks amazing, it’s a pittosporum hedge, it could a lot better, Jesus said it has drip irrigation, however in some areas it’s bugged or just not enough water pressure, not enough flow in this areas. So we’re gonna have to improve those areas, maybe add some more invaders or maybe clean it out if possible, clean out the emitters and then the hedge is receiving an even amount of water throughout. Another thing I saw, if you could look in that, that’s probably a rat’s nest, you see, there’s a lot of debris. You know, ra te s like to climb and squirrels and all that getting all those critters.
